AvantCard AutoPay

Why is Avant asking if I have any additional authorized users on my bank account I’m registering for AutoPay?

AvantCard collects authorized user information to meet federal law requirements and to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities.

What are the details of the AutoPay option?

You will have the option to register a valid checking or savings account to your AvantCard account and enroll in AutoPay. The bank account will be automatically debited in one of two amounts on the repayment date -- (1) Total Minimum Payment Due, or (2) Statement Balance. You will not have the option to set up autopay for anything outside of these 2 options.

When does the autopay go into effect?

Your AvantCard autopay plan will not go into effect until after your next statement period end date. For example, assuming your statement period end date is April 1st and payment due date is April 25th, autopay must be enabled prior to April 1st to schedule an automatic payment on April 25th; however, if autopay is enabled on April 2nd, the first scheduled automatic payment will post on May 25th.

When does an autopay cancellation go into effect?

You must have cancelled Autopay no later than your next statement period end date to prevent an autopay payment from scheduling for that statement period. For example, assuming your statement cycle date is April 1st and payment due date is April 25th, if autopay is cancelled on March 31st, no automatic payment will be scheduled to post on April 25th; however, if autopay is cancelled on April 2nd, then an automatic payment will be scheduled to post on April 25th but not May 25th. Please note that any existing payments will not be impacted by a cancellation of an autopay plan. You will have to cancel any payments that are currently in scheduled status.
