AvantCard AutoPay

Why is Avant asking if I have any additional authorized users on my bank account I’m registering for AutoPay?

AvantCard collects authorized user information to meet federal law requirements and to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities.

What are the details of the AutoPay option?

You will have the option to register a valid checking or savings account to your AvantCard account and enroll in Autopay. The bank account will be automatically debited in one of two amounts on the repayment date -- (1) Total Minimum Payment Due, or (2) Statement Balance. You will not have the option to set up autopay for anything outside of these 2 options.

When does the autopay go into effect?

Your AvantCard autopay will begin after your Statement Closing Date, and the first payment will be on the following Payment Due Date.

For example, if your Statement Closing Date is on April 1st and your Payment Due Date is April 25th, and you enroll on or before April 1st, the Service will begin after your Statement Closing Date on April 1st and the first Automatic Payment will be on April 25th. However, if you enroll on or after April 2nd, the Service will begin after your Statement Closing Date on May 1st and the first Automatic Payment will be on May 25th.

If I change my autopay strategy, when does the change go into effect?

If your Statement Close Date is on April 1st and your Payment Due Date is April 25th, and you modify your strategy from Total Minimum Payment Due to Statement Balance, this change will be effective after your Statement Closing Date on April 1st, and the Payment Amount scheduled on April 29th will be the Statement Balance. However, if you modify your strategy on or after April 2nd, this change will be effective after your Statement Closing Date on May 1st; and the Automatic Payment scheduled on April 25th will be for the Total Minimum Payment Due.

When does an autopay cancellation go into effect?

If you cancel your enrollment in AvantCard autopay we will not schedule future payments, but if you have an existing scheduled payment, it will not be automatically canceled.
