Will my credit score be impacted if I view my rates?

We perform a soft credit inquiry when you check your loan options through Avant.com. This step allows you to check what rates and terms may be available to you. That inquiry will not affect your credit score at all, and will only be visible to you on your report; not to others. 

However, if you choose to continue the application, a hard credit inquiry will be performed. Hard inquiries can affect your credit score and are visible to third parties reviewing your credit report.
